MICHAEL BIRNBERG, ESQ. has practiced law for 30 years, providing representation in a myriad of legal matters. Mr. Birnberg's diverse and extensive background enables him to provide counseling in real estate transactions, both residential and commercial, matrimonial, criminal and general business litigation.
Mr. Birnberg earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brandeis University. In addition, he has an M. B. A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management. Mr. Birnberg is involved in the community, both as a Past-President and member of the Board of Trustees of the Daughters of Miriam Center for the Aged and as a Past President of the Board of Education for Millburn/Short Hills, New Jersey and a current member of the Board of Education for Watchung Hills Regional High School. In addition, he has served on the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Ethics Committee and is currently a court appointed mediator for Superior Court. Mr. Birnberg served on the Millburn Zoning Board of Adjustment and was President of the Kiwanis Millburn-Short Hills Chapter.
Michael has been married to Jill for over 28 years and has three adult children. In his limited spare time, he still enjoys basketball, softball, cycling and golf.
